In this work, a technique was established to improve the pregnancy rate starting from the point of view of the current poor reproductive performance of dairy farming, caused by factors such as low levels of heat detection leading to low service rates (Aristizabal 30%) The female tract of the bovine female of commercial farms in the south of the department of Nariño Colombia was reviewed by the ultrasonography technique with a 7 Mhz multifrequency transducer to determine the aptitude for the service, discarding pathologies after 50 days postpartum and the pattern was established. of optimal follicular development (n=41) to start treatment that consisted of applying intramuscular prostaglandin and crayon at the base of the tail, at 24 hours later, estradiol cypionate was administered intramuscularly, and on the third day the heat detection was intensified until the fourth day, and animals that showed symptoms of estrus were inseminated with the AM PM system, basing us also peelin crayon for more help, the diagnosis of pregnancy was made at 50 days manually and with the same ultrasonography equipment, as a result, a pregnancy rate of 51% and a service rate of 85% was obtained, which shows an improvement in these reproductive parameters in dairy cattle in the study area, which on average is around 20% and 30%. % respectively.
