Abstract

In recent years geophysical techniques have gained a predominant role in agriculture, which is why this work seeks to be an aid to introduce the use of geophysical techniques in the study of agricultural soils, which is why the three most used methods are mentioned. the resistive, the resistivity, the electromagnetic induction (EMI) and the ground penetration radar (GPR), then shows an example of the application of an electromagnetic induction study where it is observed that there is a high correlation of magnetic susceptibility (SMH) ) obtained from the study of electromagnetic induction and the content of organic soil content (SOM). The use of geophysical techniques in agriculture is one more tool to optimize agricultural activity.
