The study area is located in the province of Imbabura-Ecuador, canton San Miguel de Urcuquí, its economy is based on agriculture and livestock, being of great importance the use of soil and really essential water resources, part of the The study area is made up of the city of knowledge Yachay with an investment of more than 15 billion dollars, focusing part of the area on the agricultural sector for crop improvement. The objectives of the present work were to measure the inorganic concentrations of the waters of the Ambi hydrographic system, and to relate it to the climatic variables: evapotranspiration precipitation and evaporation. There was a difference between the concentration due to the degree of dissolution of the ions in the rainy season, obtaining an average of 745.34 mg / L in the dry season while in the rainy season 577.73 mg / L, the area presented two zones that registered different values of precipitation, being the southern part of the basin with values below 1900 mm per year, while the northern part of the basin is the sector with records below 1100 mm per year.
